Isabelle Kirouac

Isabelle Kirouac is an interdisciplinary choreographer, dance artist, acrobatic stilt-walker and movement educator from Quebec and currently living in Vancouver. Her artistic work often blends dance, theatre, immersive performance and circus. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Simon Fraser University, in which she received the Elsie Jang Award in Contemporary Arts. She taught and presented her work in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Western Canada Contact Improvisation is a privately owned and operated company that offers workshops, classes, festivals and more in the areas of contact improvisation dance, somatic psychotherapy, Mind-Body Centering, modern dance, fusion dance, yoga, acro yoga, NVC communication training with other complimentary studies being added weekly. All of our events are focused on bringing together community, student and professional and dancers from the Pacific Northwest to gain valuable instruction from a ever expanding menu of teachers from around the world.
